Amy Grant Is Recovering From Heart Surgery

Christian pop singer Amy Grant is recuperating from open-heart surgery she had on June 3rd, for a rare, life-long condition.

The 59 year old Grant, who had the pop hits ‘Baby, Baby’ and “The Next Time I Fall”, a duet with Chicago’s Peter Cetera…along with Christian Pop hits “Father’s Eyes” and “Angels”, in the 1980’s, had surgery to correct a rare heart condition she has had since birth, called PAPVR. This stands for Partial Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return. This means that the pulmonary veins return the blood back into the right atrium, instead of the left atrium, of the heart.

Grant, the wife of Vince Gill, has posted photos of herself and her surgical scar, on Instagram and other social media. See her here on YouTube.
