Flower Acres Baptist Church and East Texas Food Bank will be hosting three tractor trailers full of groceries on Monday July 13th. The church is located at 3000 Flower Acres Road, Texarkana. Texas.
FABC Food Pantry Director Angela Lockamy asks participants to do these things:
Please do not use Flower Acres Road, we will have to turn you around to Bender Road.
Please do not bring your dogs through the line. Some of our volunteers are afraid of dogs. It’s a risk we simply don’t need to take. Thank you.
PLEASE WEAR A MASK WHEN YOU COME THROUGH THE LINE. Our volunteers are exposed to over 1000 people a day each time we distribute produce. Please understand we want to protect you as well as ourselves.
We are still accepting items for our homeless program, you may drop them off when you come through the line. Bug spray is still a number one request. Citronella candles that they can burn it night are very helpful. Thank you for every donation that comes in.
Line up on Bender Road at 8 am. We have three tractor trailers coming! We will have some wonderful blessings coming in just like we did on Thursday. These trucks are fully loaded and they are well worth the wait time.
