We play the best and most country, hands down! Like Tim McGraw, Trisha Yearwood, and Tammy Wynette, we take our celebration seriously. We have everything covered, from burgers, ribs, steaks, dessert, sides, and of course, tea for our solo cup. We pulled together our tips and must-haves for you on this long weekend. We firmly believe in devouring as much seared protein as possible. We are kind of keto, but not really. It’s a team effort to have the perfect company BBQ. Take us with you everywhere, download our app.
Hamburgers
We all look forward to having JW grill us up some burgers!
When cooking burgers on the grill, I season with onion powder, nature’s seasoning, and a little Tony’s to give them a little kick. Flip the burgers sparingly, maybe once or twice and don’t smash them with the spatula so they won’t dry out.
Steaks
Maverick’s mad skills with his fancy Traeger always have us willing drooling. He knows just how we like our steaks.
I like to put a good dry rub, like the Traeger rub on my steaks and sear them at about 500. It gives it a little crust and keeps the juice inside. Also…never use a fork utensil to stick in the steak to turn it. That let the flavor out. Use tongs and carefully flip it. Treat the steaks with love like you would a good woman, and like the woman, you will be rewarded.
Ribs
Shotgun is the absolute king of #lockedandloaded out of this world ribs. We have no shame in our game over indulging in these absolutely fall-off-the-bone tasty culinary delights.
First thing I put on all the seasoning and barbecue sauce for me it’s Lowery‘s seasoning salt and KC masterpiece barbecue
Then I wrap them in cellophane then, I wrap them in tinfoil… The cellophane will make them extra juicy and tender And the cellophane will keep the seasoning and the barbecue sauce on the ribs
If you’re making them in the oven cook them for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours and tell tinder. This all depends on if you want them cooked or a little burnt
If you’re making them in a grill or a smoker cook at 275° for again 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours depending on if you want them tender and juicy or more cooked
I cook my ribs in about an hour and 40 min or 1:55 hours because I like my ribs tender and juicy and with lots of barbecue sauce if you want to make A little more burnt I would cook them for about two hours or 2 1/2 hours. If you want to cook these in the oven just 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours and tell tinder.
Sweet & Savory
Kelli can’t try any new recipes because she has us 100% hooked on her Twinkie Strawberry dessert. She always brings the tea from Chicken Express, both sweet and unsweet as we are trying to consume only the important carbs.
Audie Renee
Audie Renee Just wow… these Ranch Style Beans must be made in double batches as we all beg to have leftovers to take home. We know Audie has us covered with the good ice from Sonic and cups.
Anna
Anna brings her world-famous “Sams Club” Southern Style Potato Salad, chips, cheese dip, paper plates, and utensils. We are talking about the “serious paper plates” that can stand up to our feast. You know work smart, not hard.
Here’s a little pro tip for everyone out there grilling ribs this weekend!! What’s your recipe? @butcherbox #ButcherBox #4thofJuly pic.twitter.com/2uatxcLuih
