Benefit Concert Coming to Texarkana

A benefit concert is coming to Texarkana’s Historic Arkansas Municipal Auditorium in late September.

Award-winning recording artists Chuck Hancock and Barbara Fairchild and her husband Roy Morris will perform and boost fundraising efforts for the continued restoration and revitalization of the Historic Arkansas Municipal Auditorium.

The concert will be on Saturday September 28th at 7PM. Tickets are $30 for up close VIP Seating and $20 for General Admission seating. Seating will be limited 100 VIP & 100 General Admission so get your seat reserved now. The VIP tickets do include preferred seating, cushioned chairs, a free Chuck Hancock CD and autographed picture and a chance to win door prizes. The General Admission ticket seating will be on concrete stadium seating, you are encouraged to bring your stadium cushions. You will also be eligible to win door prizes.

These performers have had success in both Nashville and Branson. Hancock had the #1 hit, “They Don’t Stay Little Long Enough” and is a native Texan. Fairchild had a #1 song in 1972 called, “The Teddy Bear Song”, and she is a native Arkansan.

The Historic Arkansas Municipal Auditorium in Texarkana has seen performances from legends such as Elvis Presley, who performed in Texarkana at least 5 times, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr., Louis Armstrong, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Mae West, and Jewell House to name a few.
