Bond Set For Alleged Murderer in Texarkana

The Texarkana Texas Police Department says bond has been set for a man accused of gunning another man down in the Oaklawn Village parking lot back in January.

Bond is for Marques Thompson is $1 million on the murder charge and $100,000 for Aggravated Assault. Also being held without bond on probation violation as well as two Arkansas felony charges.

Today Texarkana Texas Police Department and DPS arrested Marques Thompson this afternoon at a relative’s home in Texarkana.

Thompson was wanted for the January 12th murder of Nichlos Muldrow in the Oaklawn Village parking lot.

Thompson was booked into the Bi-State Jail. In addition to the murder charge, he also had warrants for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Probation Violation on Aggravated Assault, and two felony warrants from Arkansas.

Thompson was added the Texas Ten Most Wanted List on February 4.
