Here is an update for the Texarkana area as far as Coronavirus is concerned.

The state of Arkansas says Miller County has had 1,337 confirmed cases since March, with 1,147 recoveries and 16 deaths. That means currently they are tracking 190 cases that they are aware of.

Here is the Bowie County Joint Operations Center update:

Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports 43 new cases since Friday, October 30, 2020 for a total of 2,021 positive COVID-19 cases, with 81 deaths. The Department of State Health Services is reporting 1,589 recoveries. There are currently 351 active cases in Bowie County.

Cass County added 25 new cases and currently has 562 total, with 455 of those recovered, and 25 fatalities.
Cass County currently has 82 active cases.

Through the end of the year, free testing will be offered Monday- Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Texarkana-Bowie County Family Health Center at 902 W. 12 th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501. There are no requirements fortesting (residency included), oral swab with results in 48-96 hours, and pre-registration available.
