Texarkana Texas Police Chief Kevin Schutte join the Morning Show, John, Anna, and Friends to talk about new things going on at the department for the New Year.
The Police Department has some commemorative badges that officers can wear, celebrating the 150 anniversary of the founding of the city of Texarkana.
Also police personnel will have new Western style hats to wear out in the weather and the elements. Chief Schutte says this will provide not only more comfort, but better protection from the sun, heat, or wet weather, when officers have to be outside their patrol vehicles for an extended period.
Chief Schutte also talks about the upcoming Policing Experience programs that are coming up for the Spring, Summer, and Fall months of 2023.
