Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21st we get to show a much we appreciate our outgoing TISD outgoing Superintendent Paul Norton with a “drive-up farewell.” Let’s make this a moment he won’t forget. We have details to follow.
TISD will be hosting a FAREWELL DRIVE-UP FOR SUPERINTENDENT PAUL NORTON this coming Tuesday, July 21 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
You will find attached the invite that has been put out via social media along with a photo of Mr. Norton.
We are asking that participating vehicles line up in the right-hand lane on Summerhill Road going South. At the intersection of Summerhill & Kennedy, turn right. They will then see the designated entrance for our Farewell event.
Participants are encouraged to consider decorating their car, doing posters or anything fun and enjoyable that he would appreciate seeing as a reminder of his time in Texarkana.
We would also love to see any of you join us with your media vehicle or just in your own car.
Thank you for assisting in making our Drive-Up Farewell a success. We look forward to everyone Beeping, Honking, Yelling & Waving to our favorite Tiger as he takes the next step in his educational leadership chapter at Lake Travis ISD!
