The Texarkana Texas Police Department would like your help in finding a local felony suspect.

Authorities say they are looking for Rodney Lindley.  There are a couple of felony warrants – one for alleged Credit Card Abuse and another one for violating his parole.

Police have put out that call for any information on the departments Facebook page.

Here is the information from the department on this particular suspect and his alleged crimes:

A woman had her purse stolen out of her parked car at a business on St. Michael Drive late last month. Before she even knew her purse and credit cards had been taken, she started getting alerts on her phone telling her that one of the cards was being used at Central Mall. Actually, he made several quick stops that afternoon to get an early start on his Christmas shopping before she could get the cards cancelled. Detective Warren Smith was able to use surveillance video from these businesses to positively identify Lindley as the guy who was using the cards.

When Detective Smith started checking on Lindley, he found out that he already had a parole violation warrant. Looks like he started slipping off the straight and narrow pretty quickly. Right after he was released from prison in January, he cut off his ankle monitor and quit reporting to his parole officer.

We have been looking for him all week and thought we had him Thursday afternoon after an officer spotted him driving on Richmond Road. However, he took off in his car like a crazy man when the officers tried to stop him. We decided to stop the pursuit almost immediately because he was driving so dangerously, and it simply wasn’t worth the risk of him hurting or killing an innocent person or family trying to get away from us. Better safe than sorry.

If you know where Lindley is, please give us a call at 903-798-3116 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP.
