For those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, here are some opportunities for you to get some food for your family.

From Angela Lockamy, of Flower Acres Baptist Church:

FLOWER ACRES and ETFB has two trucks coming Monday, I June.

One truck will be produce, the other truck will be frozen meat.

I’m announcing this early so you can make preparations to be there Monday morning.

Start lining up on Bender Road at 8 am. Do not use Flower Acres Road to approach the church.

Please be kind to our volunteers, please be kind to your fellow Food Bank clients.

The amount of meat you receive will be based upon the amount of meat we receive.
I have no clue what kind of meat it will be, just that it will be 18 pallets of meat.

We do not supply for-profit businesses with meat or produce.

This is for everyone, no income verification required, no identification required. Simply be kind, that’s the only thing we require.

See you Monday June 1st 8 a.m.

From Pastor Jim Cross, Ashdown First United Methodist Church…here are the food opportunities for June 1st through the 5th:
