Looks like the “King of Country” brought good luck to the Houston Astros. George Strait was at game six of the World Series on Saturday night, where the Astros won the whole thing against the Phillies, four-to-one. George is a Texas native (in case you can’t tell from ALL THE TIMES he mentions the state in his songs) and lives on a ranch in San Antonio that he recently put up for sale. He’s not going anywhere, though. Strait owns other properties in Texas and plans to stay there. He even got to call out the ceremonial “play ball” before the game and signed autographs for fans.
