The Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank Corn Harvesting Event, scheduled for July 5th, 6th, and 7th has been canceled due to the crop being destroyed by wild hogs.
“We are disappointed but grateful to the farmer for his generosity and his offer to plant again next year,” according to Executive Director, Camille Coker Wrinkle. “We also appreciate all those who had already volunteered to help harvest the crop this year.”
