The Live United Bowl in Texarkana now has a brand new title sponsor.
The college bowl game will now be called the Live United Farmers Bank & Trust Bowl. The bank and the bowl committee have agreed to terms over at least the next three years. The announcement was made during a check presentation and news conference at the TASD Administration building.

The 7th annual Texarkana Live United Bowl had another successful game drawing more than 5,000 spectators. As one of only three Division II(DII) bowl games in the United States, the Texarkana Live United Bowl has become the premier DII bowl game.
“Without a doubt, from the comments, each year from the university presidents, athletic directors, head coaches, players and fans, Texarkana is on the map for offering a prestigious opportunity for post-season play,” says Allen Brown, Chairman of the Live United Bowl.
“This has been accomplished through the support of the community and the volunteers who make it happen.” The Texarkana Bowl Game has been privileged to have had the support from local philanthropists, Dean and LaCrecia Barry for the past five years. “We are so thankful for their passion to make Texarkana a great community,” says Brown. The Texarkana Bowl for 2020 will boast a new title sponsor in Farmers Bank and Trust. The Barry’s have pledged to continue to support this worthwhile event but are happy to see Farmers Bank and Trust step forward as the title sponsor for the next 3 years.

The 2019 Agent Barry Live United Bowl is proud to be able to give back to the community through a $14,000 donation to the United Way of Greater Texarkana. The United Way raises funds to support 31 different programs that make life better for individuals and families who are struggling and in need. The Texarkana Live United Bowl is proud to have this association with the United Way of Greater Texarkana.
