JUST EXACTLY WHAT IS A MASTER GARDENER?

A Master Gardener is a person interested in gardening and horticulture. They are enthusiastic,

to provide horticulture-related information to their communities.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BECOME A BOWIE COUNTY MASTER GARDENER?
Once an intern has completed the 50-hour training, they will join the monthly Bowie County
Master Gardener meetings, participate in trainings and volunteer service in the county and
their communities.

A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TEXAS MASTER GARDENERS
