Just a traffic note for this Friday, June 26th from TxDOT.
The Texas Department of Transportation will be conducting pavement tests on FM 2240 (Moores Lane) between Richmond Road and Summerhill Road in Texarkana this Friday. This will require traffic on various sections of the roadway to be restricted to one lane throughout much of the day.
Lane closures are planned to begin at 7:30 a.m. and be at various locations throughout the route until 3 p.m. or until work is completed. Motorists who normally use this section of roadway should expect and plan for delays or use alternate routes.
