The month of July is all about Hawaii, with the Discovery Place, 215 Pine, in downtown Texarkana.
This Saturday, July 18th, learn all about our 50th State’s wildlife, particularly the sea turtle.
Create your own Sea Turtle Mosaics. Sea turtles are seen as a sacred animal in the Hawaiian culture. While creating our turtles we will discuss facts about them as well as how Hawaiian are helping these endangered animals alive. The event will be on July 18th from 2:00-3:00 PM and will be $5 per person and FREE for TMS Members and children 3 & under. To register in advance go to www.TexarkanaMuseums.org/
