The current Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year, Garth Brooks, is playing a one-night-only concert at 300 drive-in theaters across the country, on Saturday, June 27th.
Tickets to this special concert event are $100.00, but this does allow for as many persons who can fit into a car, truck, or SUV.
In a statement, Brooks said,
“I am so excited to get to play again. I have missed it so much and want to get back to it,” Brooks said in a statement. “This drive-in concert allows us all to get back to playing live music without the uncertainty of what would be the result to us as a community. This is old school, new school, and perfect for the time we are in.”
Each drive-in site is predicted to hold from 250 to 300 vehicles.To find a drive-in theater that is hosting the special concert, Tickets to the rain-or-shine event cost $100 per car and can be purchased June 19 at 11 a.m. CST via ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks.
