TAPD Continues to Crack Down on Commercial Burglaries | Several Arrests Made

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department arrested several people for Commercial Burglary with more warrants expected. Recent arrests include 51-year-old Keith Lee of Texarkana, Texas, for Commercial Burglary at Wash-A-Lot on N. State Line, Billy Chancey for Commercial Burglary at Walmart Garden Center on Arkansas Blvd, and Robert Morrow for Commercial Burglary at Premier High School on N. State Line.

Our Criminal Investigation Division made several arrests in some recent commercial burglary offenses.  Their investigations into the recent burglaries resulted in felony warrants being issued for numerous suspects.

The warrants led to the arrest of Keith Lanard Lee, a fifty-one-year-old male from Texarkana, Texas.  He was arrested for the Commercial Burglary at the Wash-A-Lot located in the 3300 block of North State Line Avenue.   Mr. Lee was arrested by the Texarkana Texas Police Department on the active felony warrant and is in custody at the Bi-State Justice Center awaiting extradition to Arkansas.  Billy Ray Chancey, a homeless forty-one-year-old male, was arrested for the Commercial Burglary at the Walmart Garden Center located in the 100 block of Arkansas Boulevard that occurred after hours on September 16, 2022.  Mr. Chancey was arrested and booked into the Miller County Jail.  Robert Thomas Morrow, a homeless thirty-one-year-old male, was arrested for the Commercial Burglary at the Premier High School located in the 3200 block of North State Line Avenue that occurred in the early morning of September 6, 2022.  Mr. Morrow was arrested and booked into the Miller County Jail.

More warrants are forthcoming from the Criminal Investigation Division for individuals also involved in these crimes.
