Good news the Bark at the Park and Electronic Recycling will still be held tomorrow, but the “Community Yard Sale” is postponed.
Shawn Vaughn, Public Information Officer, issued this press release attributing the rain/poor weather to cancellation:
TEXARKANA, TX – Due to muddy conditions at Spring Lake Park as a result of today’s
rain, the Community Yard Sale originally scheduled for this Saturday has been
postponed until November 2. The times for the rescheduled event will continue to be
8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.Bark at the Park and the Electronics Recycling event will be held tomorrow – rain or
shine. Both events are scheduled to take place at Spring Lake Park from 10:00 a.m. until
3:00 p.m.
These events are all a part of Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation.
