A local man is wanted for felony assault on his girlfriend.

Jeffery Peacock is wanted for Assault of a Pregnant Person. Back in late October, he forced his way into his baby mama’s apartment and got into an argument with her. She’s also five months pregnant with his child. He lost his temper during the argument and hit her several times on the head and face – with at least one of the blows being hard enough that it chipped her tooth. He then grabbed her by the hair threw her down on the floor, causing her to land directly on her stomach. When she then tried to call 911 on her cellphone, he grabbed it from her and threw it across the room. He then ran off before the cops showed up but just couldn’t stay away. He showed back up a couple days later, banging on the apartment door until she finally opened it. They got into it again, and he wound up spitting on her. A witness heard him tell the victim, “Ima make sure you ain’t gonna have this baby”. Seriously?!?! Who the heck does that? Apparently, Jeffrey Peacock does.This guy definitely is not Father of the Year material…
If you have any idea where we can find Peacock, please give us a call. We’d like to sit down and visit with him about all of this to hear his side of it – maybe over a cup of coffee or something.
