A cold front heading to the Ark-La-Tex will bring temperatures in the lower 30s by this weekend.
The National Weather Service in Shreveport is predicting rain over the next few days as an arctic front dips down into the area.
Beneficial rain amounts of one to two inches total during the event, which will begin Tuesday, can be expected before rain comes to an end Thursday from west to east. Beginning Wednesday, temps will gradually begin to drop with us expecting high temps on Halloween Thursday to only reach about 50 degrees. As the rain ends and clear skies return Thursday night the temps will drop even further reaching the lower 30s. Temps are expected to stay low all weekend as another cold front will make its way thru our area on Saturday.
