Congratulations to these Tiger Choir members on another job well done.
Here is the Press Release from the Texarkana Texas Independent School District:
Texas High School Varsity Choir participated in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region IV All-Region Choir virtual and submitted recording auditions. Students were required to learn four pieces of music and then submit a recording of selections from three of the pieces which were then judged.
Students earning placement include: Madison Frost – 1 st Chair, Alto 2;
Madelyn Snow – 2nd Chair, Soprano 2;
Jeremy Creek – 3rd Chair, Bass 2;
Zane Johnston – 4th Chair, Bass 1;
Darby Robertson – 6th Chair, Soprano 1;
Isabel Silva- 6th Chair, Alto 1;
Wisdom Alonge – 10th Chair, Alto 2.
All students will now move forward in preparing four additional musical pieces for the Pre-Area round to be held virtually in December.
The THS Choir is under the direction of Jennifer Colton-Fowler.
