A tip from a citizen has led to the arrest of a suspect accused of Aggravated Robbery.
Texarkana Texas police say 18 year old Xavier French was taken into custody last night at a residence on Kilgore Street, after the tip led authorities to that location.
Police accuse French in connection with an incident Saturday night outside a residence in the 600 block of Champion Place. The female victim said she was attempting to unlock the door to her residence when she was struck from behind with a pistol. She says the suspect then grabbed her 2 year old child and demanded money and the victims cell phone. After she complied, he then released the child and fled on foot.
French is in the Bi-State Justice Center Jail, facing charges of Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Kidnapping.
