Back on August 4th Texarkana Texas Police went to execute a search warrant at a home on Galleria Oaks and the 87 year old man went out the back door and according to authorities took his own life.
Here is an update from TTPD:
We continue to investigate the case that led us to this house last week. In addition to the search warrant, detectives had also obtained a felony arrest warrant for Ed Foster for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child and were planning on arresting him. However, Mr. Foster took his own life in his back yard just after they arrived at his home.
Our investigation has determined that there may be more victims and Foster may not have acted alone. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Cliff Harris at 903-798-3170.

Detectives went to a house in the 3700 block of Galleria Oaks late this afternoon to serve a search warrant in reference to a felony investigation. As they were trying to making contact with the 87 year old man who lives in the house, he walked out the back door and shot himself. He died at the scene.
Detectives and crime scene technicians are currently here working.
