Installation of collision beams on the K.C.S. underpasses in Texarkana continues with closure of W. 40th Street on Wednesday January 29 and Thursday January 30.
In an effort to prevent further damage to railroad underpasses, crews with Kansas City Southern Railroad are installing brightly colored beams at the underpasses in an effort to prevent oversized loads from causing damage with collisions with the low bridges.
Construction continues at the underpass on West 40th Street on Wednesday January 29 and Thursday January 30. W. 40th will be closed at the underpass from 7:00 am to at least 3:00 pm each day.
