Gather up the family and prepare to watch science happen as you witness the International Space Station fly over this evening. With the flyover occurring so soon after sunset, this will be a fantastic view as the Space Station will be brighter than usual. Right around 8:45 pm in the northwestern sky, the Space Station will appear and continue to move overhead before disappearing at approximately 9:01 pm in the southeast. Look for a very bright “star” that will be moving across the sky. We’d enjoy you sharing your pictures will us, post them and tag us or push them up in a comment below this post on Facebook. Click here to verify the next time you can see the Space Station flyover.

The International Space Station is a collaboration of 15 nations working together to create a world-class, state-of-the-art orbiting research facility. Please visit our homepage at… http://www.nasa.gov/station
