Public invited to attend a special ceremony in honor of Texarkana Native Dr. Otis Williams, member of the “Temptations” musical group.
There will be a Commemorative Plaque Dedication and 83rd Birthday Celebration in honor of Williams. The event will be this Wednesday October 30th at Noon in Downtown Texarkana Texas. Join in the fun at 3rd Street/Scott Joplin Way at Main Street.
There will be special speakers, music and the Plaque unveiling, which will be done by Texarkana Arkansas Mayor Allen Brown, and Texarkana Texas Mayor Bob Bruggeman.
Good Eats Catering Company food truck! Birthday cake and beverages are complimentary. A Birthday Balloon Launch will be a highlight! Dr. Williams family member, pianist Michael Rhodes will bring the soul music!!
Don’t forget the Temptations will be back in Texarkana, next February for a concert at the Perot Theatre.
