Bark at The Park Saturday November 2

Brooke Stone, Communications Manager for the City of Texarkana Texas joined the Morning Show to talk about the Annual Bark at The Park, which is happening this Saturday November 2nd at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana.

The event will be next to the Kaylee Sullivan Dog Park which is just inside the park as you exit Mall Drive. 9am to noon. This is for both dogs and cats. Cats need to be in their carrier and dogs on a leash. If you have an excitable dog, you can come up and register them and the personnel will come to your vehicle to administer vaccinations.

Rabies Vaccinations and City registration are free at Bark at The Park, and other vaccinations will be administered for a minimal fee.

Separately from this event, there is also a grant that the city received that allows your registered pet to be fixed for free. Go to City Hall, third floor and start the process, but that can save you alot of money and help your pets at the same time.
