Robert and Beth from the Plentiful Harvest Church & Mission Center in New Boston, Texas joined the Morning Show to talk about the 8th Annual West Bowie County Back to School Bash which is happening this Saturday August 2nd, from 11am to 2pm on the church grounds located at 500 N. Merrill Street in New Boston.
It's a free event for the entire family to help residents get their kids ready for back to school. There will be free food, including hot dogs, snow cones, and popcorn. School supplies and back packs, haircuts, and many kid focused booths.
There will also be lots of fun activities, including bounce house, face painting, balloon artists, Giraffe Inn & Safari will bring some animals for a petting zoo and LifeShare Blood Mobile will be on hand to receive blood donations. There will also be Teacher Scholarships.
Remember its all free for you and your children to get ready for back to school.
