Do you remember your first halloween costume? I remember mine. For some reason I guess penguins were big when I was little because I went dressed as a penguin. Yes I have photographic proof. But thankfully I cannot find the old photo.
Just imagine a very small child in an all black costume with a yellow beak on the top of his head. Yep it was not the best costume. And wearing all black walking streets at night is not a good idea either. Thankfully, I was so young my mom was with me. She would drive me from neighborhood to neighborhood.
I do remember one house that had several adults inside and they thought I was so cute they asked me to come inside. I did and I remember the adults making a big deal about my costume. Then there was a knock on the door. It was mom who had been waiting in the car. She got concerned when I went inside and did not come out immediately. Once my mom got me back to the car she told me not to go inside any other houses. I was so young and innocent I never thought twice about going inside. Times certainly have changed it seems.
