It was wonderful meeting King & Amber from Lone Star Legal Aid. We were honored to have them on the My Pig Morning Show, John, Anna, & Friends to talk about the services that Lone Star Legal Aid provide to Service Members and Veterans for Free!
We also talked about a terrific way to help out Veterans who may be homeless, or financially insecure. It's the Socks For Soldiers Drive going on now through November 9th. They are asking and encouraging you to donate new socks, or even new undershirts, both for men and women to the cause.
You can have them drop shipped to 3001 Richmond Road, Suite A, Texarkana, Texas 75503, or on Wednesdays you can drop them by in person through November 9th. Their office is primarily located between Collum & Carney Richmond Road Clinic and Sonic!
The Socks For Soldiers Drive will conclude on Wendesday November 9th at their office. On that day, from 9am to noon they invite veterans and other members of the community to join them for a community outreach event with their partners, including Community Healthcore.
