This weeks Student/Athletes come to us from the Pleasant Grove Hawks. The Hawks advanced to the Texas Class 4A Division II State Quarterfinals/Regional Finals with a big victory over Aubrey.
Hawks Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Josh Gibson put forth both an offense and defense player of the game.
On offense, Junior Quarterback Ahkhari Johnson accounted for 252 total yards. 145 yards passing along with 107 rushing. Johnson accounted for 5 touchdowns for PG.
On defense Sophomore end Lance Jackson was involved in 10 total tackles, 6 of those were solo.
