Are you superstitious? Do you worry about Friday the 13th? I used to never worry about Friday the 13th. I always thought it was a JOKE. That was until several years ago when I changed my mind.
Why? Well, it was a Friday the 13th and I thought nothing of depositing my paycheck as I always had done. I did not worry at all about doing that on Friday the 13th. Until later the next week I started getting very thin letters from the bank about bounced checks for bills and groceries and other things. I was surprised and shocked because I knew I had just deposited enough money to cover all those bills and more.
So I raced to my financial institution to ask what was going on. Once there I discovered that somehow my paycheck which I always put in my checking account was instead deposited into my savings account. Simple mistake but a big problem for me that took a while to clean up. So ever since then, I do not ever deposit anything on Friday the 13th.
