The Arkansas High Razorback football team will be on the road for the second week in a row.

The Hogs travel to Hot Springs Friday night to take on the Trojans. Barry Norton’s team comes in after a thrilling 30-28 victory over Little Rock McClellan last week.

Razorback Quarterback Braylon Bishop threw for a couple of touchdowns. Torie Blair had another big night running the ball for Arkansas High, scoring the game winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

Arkansas High carries a 3-1 conference record into the match up against Hot Springs. The Trojans are also 3-1, and both are tied with Hot Springs Lakeside for the current conference lead.

If Arkansas High wins this game they will almost assuredly either finish first or second in the conference which would  mean at least one home playoff game. The Razorbacks will host Hope on November 1st and finish the regular season in DeQueen on November 8th.

Hot Springs has a tougher task by traveling to Camden-Fairview, then hosting in town rival Hot Springs Lakeside. As for Lakeside they are at DeQueen this Friday, hosting Little Rock McClellan next week, and finishing at the Trojans the final Friday of the regular season.

Coach Barry Norton has the Hogs playing well at the right time. There is a good chance they can win out, which means one loss by Lakeside, would give the Hogs the #1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
