Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is getting ready for another citizen’s police academy for 2024! APPLICATIONS ARE DUE AUGUST 9TH, 2024.

If you or someone you know wants to learn about the daily functions and meet the police officers that serve Texarkana, Arkansas, we invite you to apply. This is an 8-week experience that will introduce you to all aspects of the police department from Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Crime Scene Investigations, SWAT, K-9, Dispatch, and Administration.
If you are interested, please email Public Information Officer, Kristen Schultz, at kristen.schultz@txkusa.org and we will get you an application. The class begins September 10th- October 29th. Classes will be held every Tuesday evening from 5:30 pm- 8:30pm in the TAPD Training Room, 100 N. State Line Avenue, 1st floor.
Applications are due by August 9th! Class size is limited, so don’t wait until the last minute to apply. We encourage all citizens to join us for a great experience!
