Cattleman’s Steak House a Texarkana tradition since the 1960s has been selected as one of the winners into the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame for 2020.

Cattleman’s is a Texarkana tradition, located at 4018 N. Stateline Avenue. Joe Oliver opened Cattleman’s back in 1964 and his establishment is still one of Texarkana’s favorite Steak restaurants. These days Joe spends a little more time in front of the house visiting with his many regulars with children Cash, and Megan carrying on the family tradition.

This according to a Press Release from Arkansas Heritage:

Arkansas Heritage has announced the winners for the 2020 class of the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame, including food-themed events, restaurants and proprietors from across the state.

Joe’s Daughter Megan Oliver posted this on Facebook

So tonight my dad (and stubborn brother who wouldn’t come), owners of Cattleman’s Steak House were announced one of three winners of Arkansas Food Hall of Fame. Congratulations to both of y’all. I’m so glad I was blessed enough to grow up in this restaurant.
