Rabies is 100% fatal to humans if left untreated. We visited with Dr. Jocelyn Kemp, a veterinarian at Care Pet Clinic. If a bat is lethargic on the ground, it is probably sick. Bats commonly carry the extremely infection disease Rabies. We learned a lot about how we should handle a bat and what to do if a dog bites someone.
