Altrusa has their Writing Workshop for kids ages 8 to 12. This year's event will be Saturday October 19th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Texarkana Public Library.
Joy Goldstein with the organization joined the Morning Show to talk about the fun event. Besides the writing event, their will be plenty of fun, games and free pizza.

This is a free event, parents are welcome to stay.
