We were so glad to meet Beth Pesek and have her on the morning show on this Monday morning. Beth is a longtime educator in our area having taught in public school most of her adult life.
Beth talked about getting involved in helping your community which she did while she was working, but she has actually increased the time spent giving back since her retirement.
One very important event coming up in which you can participate in will be the Gladys Morris Stone Soup Fundraiser, in which proceeds will be used to send children living in the Center of Hope homeless shelter to summer camp, provide new clothes, shoes and supplies for back to school and a Christmas party for those living in the Center of Hope shelter during the Christmas season.
