The James Black Bowie Heritage Festival will happen Friday and Saturday April 21st and 22nd from 8am-5pm at Historic Washington Arkansas in Hempstead County, north of Hope.
It costs just $6 to park and that gets you into the Festival. But you will want to bring some extra spending money, in case you want to purchase specialty knives, eat at one of the food trucks or local restaurants, and their will be BB Shooting for the kids, along with other fun in the Kid’s Corner.
You can meet “Forged in Fire” Celebrities Doug Marcaida & Ricardo Vilar. Other events will include the Arkansas State Cutting Competition with Master Bladesmith Jerry Fisk, knif show by World-Class Bladesmiths, historical re-enactments, original James Black Bowie Knife Exhibit and other artifacts and attractions.
