Lonna Johnson, the Area Director for the Caddo Area Council of Scouts joined the Morning Show to talk about the fun and benefits of getting your young boy or girl signed up for Cub Scouts.
It is sign up time for Cub Scouts. They are having sign up sessions currently, but you can also call 903-793-2179 or online
Also an event is coming up in October, which families are invited to attend, even if they haven't starting scouting yet, that is the Caddo Area Council Cub Fun Day. This years event is called Heroes & Helpers. Police, Firefighters, EMT, and others will be on hand, with their vehicles, and K-Nines. Scouting fun such as archery, BB Guns, Slingshots, Rock Climbing Tower, Bobcat Academy, Rockets, Food, and Fun!!
October 11th from 9am to Noon at the Camp Preston Hunt, 6918 Tennessee Road, Texarkana, Arkansas.
