Lisa Irvin with LifeShare Blood Center joined the Morning Show to talk about the urgent need for blood donations during this time of the Summer. The need for blood donations actually goes up during this time of year, while the donations go down, due to people going on vacations, being out of their routine and the heat.
You can donate in person at their donation center located at 4020 Summerhill Road, that's in the Summerhill Square Shopping Center across from Texas High School.
Also they are looking for businesses and churches to host the LifeShare Blood Mobile Centers to have a blood drive on your parking lot.

Monday 8 AM–4PM
Tuesday 8 AM–4 PM
Wednesday 8 AM–4 PM
Thursday 8 AM–6 PM
Friday 8 AM–3 PM
Saturday 8 AM–1 PM
And they are open the third Sunday in each month so they will be open this Sunday July 20 until 1pm.
