Angela and Vonn from the Area Agency on Aging joined the Morning Show to talk about the services offered for free by the Area Agency on Aging. The agency is part of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments.
Also talked about the Lunch and Learn which is happening Tuesday May 21st inside the Williams Memorial Methodist Church, located at 4000 Moores Lane in Texarkana Texas.
Doors will open around 10:00, with the activities starting by around 10:45.
The Agency helps those 60 years of age and older, also younger people who may be disabled and Veterans.
There will be free lunch and desert provided by Christus St. Michael Health System, Cholesterol and Blood sugar screening by the Spirit of St. Michael, lots of other vendors there as well.
There will be three speakers as well.
