We were so happy to have Dr. Doug Brubaker, Superintendent for T.I.S.D., the Texarkana Texas Independent School District, in with us on the Morning Show, John, Anna, and Friends this Thursday morning October 27, 2022. We had a chance to talk with Dr. Brubaker about all the exciting things going on in the district, including academics, extra-curricular, and athletics.
Dr. Brubaker also talked about the two Bond Issues that are on the General Election Ballot this voting season. He discussed what is in both the two bonds and what it would mean to the students, staff, and community if either or both were to pass.
Early voting is underway across the state of Texas, there are a number of places in the city you can early vote, including at the PAC on the Texas High campus. If you choose to wait until the day of, that will be on Tuesday November 8th.
