The Alzheimer’s Association Dallas and Northeast Texas Chapter is presenting a Texarkana community event about the growing impact of Alzheimer’s disease on February 13 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the Ark-Texas Council of Governments, 4804 Elizabeth St. Texarkana, TX.

Special guests are Robbin Bass, District Director for U.S. Rep. John Ratcliffe’s 4th Congressional District Office in Texarkana, and Sharon Elkins, District Director for Texas State Representative Gary VanDeaver.

Hosted by the Area Agency on Aging Ark-Tex Region, this collaborative event also includes Lisa Reeve, Director, ArkTex Area Agency on Aging and Cheryl Waller, Outreach Specialist/Health Educator, Texarkana-Bowie County Family Health Center.

The event is a discussion on how Alzheimer’s and other dementias are impacting every facet of society.
