The 7th Annual Turkey Trot will be this Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, 2020 from 8:00 AM–10:00 AM…and it will be a virtual event.

Community Healthcore’s Foundation presents their 7th annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. We are having a virtual race this year due to COVID-19. Join our family tradition of a 5K or a 1 mile fun walk.

The health, wellbeing and safety of our participants and volunteers are our top priority. We do want to keep everyone safe and therefore have made the decision for a virtual race this year.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Community Healthcore Foundation to be used in various forms of client services, unmet needs and other assistance without a funding source for Community Healthcore programs.

Community Healthcore is a non-profit agency that is the local mental health and intellectual and developmental disability authority for nine counties, including Bowie, Cass, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Panola, Red River, Rusk and Upshur Counties. Community Healthcore provides mental health services to children and adults, programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance use disorder and assisting homeless Veterans. During this pandamic, mental health services demand is on the rise and are especially needed now.
