Thursday, November 28. Randy Sams Outreach Shelter, 402 Oak Street in Texarkana, will serve  around 350 people, beginning at 10:30 AM. The meal is for both the homeless and those who cannot afford to have their own Thanksgiving meal. Volunteers to serve, wash dishes, take out trash and other chores, are needed. You do not have to stay all day. Here is a list of items needed for the meal:

Hams    Canned Goods   Casseroles   Eggs  Catsup  Mayo  Rolls  Water  Soda  Paper plates–large

Turkeys   Pans of dressing  Canned vegetables  Cranberry sauce  Tea (bags or jugs) Paper towels

Plastic ware   Toilet paper  Dishwashing liquid  Heavy-duty foil  Plastic Wrap  Big Aluminum pans

Closer to Thanksgiving: potatoes, sweet potatoes, eggs, and milk.
