On June 11th, at roughly 4:30 pm, Ruff to Rescue Express will be stopping at the Texarkana Animal League (5820 Richmond Rd. Texarkana, TX). Ruff to Rescue will be transporting 30 dogs from Houston, TX to Upstate New York so they can find their forever homes. It’s so exciting, and these wonderful people and dogs need our help to get them to their destination. They will be making a pit stop to let the dogs eat and use the bathroom. As a volunteer, you would come and walk leashed dogs so they can stretch their legs and use the bathroom, or you may be needed to help care for and feed puppies. This takes around 2 hours but can take less time depending on the number of volunteers we have come out to help. I cannot begin to tell you how fun and rewarding it is helping Ruff to Rescue Express when they come through Texarkana. We hope to see you there.
