Here are this week’s opportunities for emergency food boxes, produce, and meal distributions.

Monday, May 11:  Flower Acres Baptist Church will have two trucks full of foodstuffs from East Texas Food Bank arriving early morning at the church on 3000 Flower Acres Road, in the Liberty Eylau community of Texarkana, Texas. Line up for distribution at 8:00 AM. Program Director Angela Lockamy advises:

That time may change based upon the inventory that comes in. If what we receive has to be bagged it will take longer for us to start distribution.

Use the new route of Buchanan to the Service Road 151 to Bender Road.
GPS will assist you if you’re new to the program

No window or side door loading, back hatch or trunk only. Clean out your trunk before you get there, we’re not going to rearrange things for you.

Like and follow Flower Acres Baptist Church Facebook page for future announcements.

Numerous people have inquired as to how to donate to our program. Simply mail a check to the church. Annotate that the check is for the food pantry program. Every dime is spent in the food pantry on food, not one person receives a salary.
We fall under the church umbrella, therefore we have no utilities and no rent to pay.
We buy food with the donations that come in which is how we are able to continue with this ministry.

* 3000 Flower Acres Road Texarkana TX 75501

* Start lining up around 8 am. That’s our guesstimate that we will be loading cars around that time.

* Your trunk, your back hatch is your responsibility.

This post is for anybody in any County in any state. No identification required. No income verification necessary.
Please share this post far and wide as this blessing is for everyone.

NOTE:  Produce and boxes will be distributed Wednesday, May 13th once again at the church, with line-up for the items at 10:00 AM.

Tuesday, May 12:  Ashdown United Methodist Church at 145 Commerce in Ashdown is passing out 300 Hamburgers and Fries from Herbs on Tuesday, May 12th at 5 pm at Ashdown United Methodist Church. Passing out 600 tacos (2 per bag) from Medranos on Thursday, May 14th at 5 pm at Ashdown United Methodist Church. We will also provide chips, cookies, and water. We have passed out over 3100 meals in 11 community feedings in Ashdown and Foreman. Thanks be to God for the opportunity and thanks to a great community that is all about loving and serving others. This is not a church thing but a community thing. Feeding the community and helping local businesses. God is good!! Look at God go! #ministryneverstops. Proud to be a resident of Little River County.

If you, your church or organization are distributing free food, please let us know.
