Not every day, the King of Country Music gives an interview. Still, Cowboys & Indians Magazine has scored by getting the legendary George Strait to answer some questions for their January 2023 issue. He graces the cover (and he looks pretty fantastic for a guy who’s 70) and says he’s getting ready to work on a new album. George tells the mag that he’s narrowing down song choices now and wants it to be an album where each song can stand on its own. His last album, “Honky Tonk Time Machine,” came out in 2019.
